SAFETY REGULATIONS:
- Installation of a Full Roll Cage with diagonal bars and door bars is recommended to all competitors’ cars. It is highly recommended to use FIA/MSA certified Roll Cage such as those manufactured by Safety Devices and Roll Centre
- Fire-resistant Roll Cage Padding is recommended to be installed on all parts of the cage which could come into contact with the Driver’s body, arms, legs or head
- It is recommended to install a 2.25 litre fire extinguisher plumbed to cockpit and engine compartments. It is however mandatory to have a least a hand-held type fire extinguisher inside the cockpit. The fire extinguisher must be securely mounted on the car.
- An electrical Cut-Out Switch is recommended to be installed in the car. It should be located within easy access by Driver and must isolate all electrical circuits and STOP the engine
- Bucket type race seats are highly recommended
- 5 or 6 point safety harness is recommended and a minimum requirement of a fully functional factory spec seatbelt must be installed in the car
- Towing eyes are recommended to be fitted to the car in order to make vehicle recovery to be easier
- On-board cameras maybe installed provided that they are securely mounted in the car
BODYWORK:
- Any modifications to the bodywork is permitted
ENGINE:
- Engine block must be of BMC/Leyland/Austin Rover A or A+ type
- No restrictions on engine modifications
- Forced-induction is allowed (i.e. turbocharging / supercharging)
TRANSMISSIONS AND DRIVELINE:
- No restrictions on gear ratio and final drive
- Cross pin differentials, LSD and Automatic Torque Biasing Differentials are allowed
SUSPENSION:
- No restrictions on suspension modifications
- Adjustable dampers are allowed
- Coil over suspensions and rear beam axle conversions are allowed
BRAKES:
- No restrictions on brake modifications
- Use of brake servo and brake bias valve is allowed
- Rear disc brake conversions are allowed
- It is highly recommended to use DOT 4 or higher brake fluid
- stop/brake lights must be working
WHEELS:
- Any wheel size is allowed. (10, 12 or 13 inch diameter)
- No restriction on Wheel width and offset
TYRES:
- Road tyres with suitable thead
It is the Competitor’s responsibility to ensure that their car
complies with the technical regulations as stated above! Non-compliance of the
technical regulations may result into disqualification from the race and
stripping of championship points!
